Liverpool and England legend Steven Gerrard, in an interview for BT Sports, said Cristiano Ronaldo has to win the “Golden Ball” for 2017.
Gerrard is amazed what Ronaldo has made for Real Madrid in the last games, he was also a little sad for CR7 becase he failed to complete the trick in the final.
“Ronaldo is simply fantastic and should win the” Golden Ball “because of his importance in the crucial matches of the season,” Gerrard said.
“He made fantastic appearance in the final and is a pity that he did not complete the hat-trick, he would achieve something incredible – scoring hat-trick in the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final,” added Gerrard.
Ronaldo was amazing in the final against Juventus, scoring two goals in Real Madrid 4:1 win and is seen as the top favorite for the “Golden Ball”, which would be the fifth for the Portuguese.
