Steven Gerrard will leave LA Galaxy at the end of the season to return to Liverpool, the club where he played 17 seasons.
According to British media “Daily Express” the legend of “Anfield Road” Steven Gerrard has started talks with Liverpool leaders to become part of his old team again, but this time as a coach.
Even though Steven Gerrard hasn’t announced that he will retire from football, Gerrard is very near to start a new career as a coach. He will manage some of Liverpool youth team.
“Gerrard return to Anfield will be a big surprise, but he will be welcomed from all Liverpool fans” declared Jurgen Klopp.
Steven Gerrard started playing for Liverpool in 1998 and left in 2015 when he joined LA Galaxy.
The 36 years old midfielder has played over 700 games with Liverpool shirt.
