Real Madrid vs. Barcelona bring ‘El Clasico’ to Miami: Time, TV channel, how to watch live stream online

Two of international soccer’s most storied franchises, Real Madrid and Barcelona, are bringing their La Liga rivalry — known as El Clasico — to South Florida on Saturday when they meet at Hard Rock Stadium.

It’s the first time these two teams will meet in the United States and only the second time they’ll play outside of Spain (they played in Venezuela in 1982).

The Spanish soccer powers will be playing in a friendly as part of the International Champions Cup, which also features France’s Paris Saint-Germain playing Italy’s Juventus in Miami Gardens on Wednesday.

And it’s an occasion to party.

The week of El Clasico is taking on a Super Bowl-like atmosphere, with concerts, parties and a fan festival that’s like the NFL Experience during Super Bowl week.

ESPN has planned blanket coverage, sending 25 on-air commentators to Miami. The network plans include broadcasts on three of its networks — ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes and will broadcast SportsCenter live from Miami.

Along with the network, event organizers expect from 400 to 500 media members from all over the world.
