Raphael Guerreiro has revealed that he has rejected the chance to join Barcelona and decided to sign for Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona said they were keen to sign former Lorient defender before the season 2016-17.
However, Guerreiro received a transfer fromthe Bundesliga side. He felt he would have more opportunities in the first team at Signal Iduna Park.
“It was a very difficult decision to say no to Barcelona. But there was a moment where I had to make a decision and the offer from Borussia Dortmund convinced me, “said Guerreiro for Canal +.

“I need to play regularly this season and to get minutes in order to develop more. I was lucky that things are going very well for me in Germany, “concluded Raphael.
