Kia Joorabchian is a busy man, and may have fuelled further transfer speculation with his latest appointment.
Philippe Coutinho’s agent has been spotted speaking to Antero Henrique, who is Paris Saint-Germain’s director of sport.
This can be seen in the tweet below.
Linked to a move this summer, the former Inter star even handed in a request to the Anfield side so that he could join Barcelona.
The move fell through, however, though Barcelona are still interested in signing the Brazilian for a sum lower than the €150m they offered last summer.
Henrique paid a lot of money over the summer to recruit both Neymar and Kylian M’Bappe for a combined €402 million.
Coutinho gets on royally with Neymar, and the talk was that the latter was lobbying for his fellow Brazilian international to join him in Barcelona, obviously before his move to PSG.
Coutinho is coming off an EPL season in which he scored 13 goals, and made seven assists.
