AC Milan star Suso has spoken about future at the San Siro, playing down Tottenham’s hopes of signing the former Liverpool star.

The 23-year-old signed a new deal with the rossoneri back in September and currently has a 50 million euros release clause appended to his name. In a press conference, the Spaniard opened up about Milan and how things have been at the club.

When asked about the role he’s being made to play under Vincenzo Montella, Suso told reporters: “It’s true that on the wings, I find it more comfortable. I can also adapt to other roles. I also played in the midfield in the Europa League.”

He was also asked about how it felt while taking the captain’s armband during the club’s 4-1 win over Chievo recently. Suso said: “Even for a few minutes, it was nice to wear it.”

Suso was also enquired about his future. He said: “I renewed recently, Fassone did not say anything to me. I feel very important, in my head there is the desire to stay for so long.”

AC Milan are eighth in the table following their win against Chievo and face Juventus in a massive game on Saturday evening.
