The Sunday Mirror reports that Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal will battle it out over the signature of Shakhtar Donetsk’ Brazilian winger Bernard Duarte.

According to the report, the player’s contract is set to expire at the end of June 2018 and reports in Brazil state that Bernard intends to let his contract expire before leaving on a free transfer to sign for a big club in the Premier League.

However, the reigning Ukrainian champions are not keen on letting their star man leave for free so they will look to offload him in January when the transfer window reopens. The Sunday Mirror reports further that Shakhtar have set an asking price of £11,5 million for the 25 year old winger who joined the club from Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro ahead of the 2013/2014 season for a reported transfer fee of €25 million and has since then featured 121 times scoring 18 goals across all competitions for Shakhtar.
