Real Madrid star will leave Real Madrid this summer

After struggling to break into the Real Madrid lineup with regularity this season, it appears Marcos Llorente will depart the Spanish capital this summer. Here is what we know so far.
He’s played only 942 minutes this season and is tired of it. After being considered by many to be the second best central defensive midfielder in Spain in 2016/2017 (behind Casemiro of course) while on loan, 23-year-old Marcos Llorente is ready to part ways with Real Madrid.
According to reports, Llorente will leave the Spanish giants in favor of a more regular spot with either Eintracht Frankfurt or Real Socieded over the summer.

Sociedad is the front runner to acquire the midfielder for two reasons.
First off, they are a La Liga side and with Marcos having already proven himself in the Spanish league while on loan with Deportivo Alaves.
Secondly, Marcos’ brother and former Real Madrid defender, Dani, is already playing in San Sebastian.

However, don’t rule out Eintracht here. Los Blancos have done lots of business with the German side in the past with Vallejo spending his loan stint with them a year ago as well as Omar Mascarell playing with them now.
Both teams could be willing to make a player swap with Real Madrid as Los Blancos have been monitoring Sociedad defender, Álvaro Odriozola, who has been very impressive this season.
Frankfurt could hold onto Mascarell if Madrid is not willing to part-ways with Llorente.
My thoughts on the situation are pretty simple.
I want Marcos to stay, but at the same time, I don’t blame him at all for wanting to go a different direction. Zidane has been stubborn when it comes to rotating his young players into the lineup, and as a result, he is driving them out of the club.

Marcos will be a star one day; no doubt about it. But, Casemiro is the guy for Real Madrid and that won’t change for five years or more.
Llorente is doing what’s best for his career making this decision to move on and it is clear from his facial expressions on the bench that he is unhappy right now.
