Sterling will miss the match against West Ham, and also against Real Madrid

The Englishman missed the match against Tottenham and will not be ready for City in the next leg, and is also in doubt against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Raheem Sterling is expected to miss the Premier League game against West Ham on Sunday due to a thigh injury.

The English striker left the match at the end of the second half against Tottenham. City were defeated at the weekend against Tottenham.

Sterling was replaced by Bernardo Silva, but the Portuguese could not help City to get points on that match.

Silva will return to the lineup but he is a better substitute for Riyad Mahrez, becasue that is his natural postion.

Sterling has missed only two of City’s 25 Premier League games this season against Watford 8-0 and Aston Villa 6-1, suggesting Pep Guardiola’s side could do well without him.
