After months of negotiations and seemingly endless rumours, the Reds officially confirmed on Friday afternoon that their world-class striker Mohamed Salah has signed a lucrative new three-year contract.
The Pharaoh’s new deal with Liverpool was reached while the player was on holiday in Mykonos, Greece, with all the videos announcing the great happiness that gripped the Greek island.
It was indeed a day to remember for Liverpool, with fans on social media making their feelings of joy at Salah’s performance clear. The Egyptian and his staff appeared to be equally enthusiastic when the contract extension was made public by the club.

Now, many will rightly ask: how can we be sure that the people in the video are Salah and his companions? We obviously can’t be 100% sure, but an image posted on Instagram by Egyptian YouTube star Amr Nassouhy suggests it’s most likely him.
The clothes worn by the trio in the photos look remarkably similar to those seen in the video, so it’s probably safe to assume we’re dealing with Salah and his friends in the footage above.
