The home team must win the challenge with a two-goal lead to qualify further or at least have a one-goal lead to send the match into overtime.
Coaches Xabi Alonso and Jose Mourinho will once again confront their tactics in the meeting that decides the finalist.

Sevilla and Juventus also play in the other semi-final for a place in the May 31 final, which takes place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
