Real Madrid could pay 100 million euro for their target!

Real Madrid have been regularly linked with the inordinate talents of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the last few years and a latest report suggests that the player may end up eclipsing the £89m shelled out for Paul Pogba last summer to become the first £100m footballer in history.

Betting company BWIN have complied the report and they have these players as the most likely ten to become the first £100m men:

1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)
2. Harry Kane (Tottenham)
3. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)
4. Paulo Dybala (Juventus)
5. Neymar (Barcelona)
6. Marco Verratti (PSG)
7. Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
8. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)
9. Yannick Carrasco (Atletico Madrid)
10. Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

The Gabon international tops that list, perhaps because he has been courted by such a wealthy club, is potentially getable and has said in the past that he would love to play for Real Madrid.

“Real Madrid is still a dream, but there has been too much noise.”said Aubameyang.

TFF feels that the style of the player could be more suited to the Premier League. He has such power and pace that he would surely score as many goals in England as he has in Germany.

The Spanish league is more technical and requires players with great skill as well as power.

Aubameyang is an all-rounder however and we wouldn’t bet against him succeeding at Real Madrid.

His goal scoring record is sensational with 112 goals in just 178 games for Borussia Dortmund over the last four seasons.

Before that he scored 41 goals in just 97 games for St.Etienne and has also scored freely for Gabon with 23 in 55 for his country since his debut in 2009.

It will be fascinating to see what happens in the summer because TFF thinks that he is ripe for a move and wants one last mega pay day. He’s 28 in June and no longer a spring chicken. Now is the time for him to truly etch his name into the history books and if he waits another year he may be deemed to old for the elite to pay such money for.

As such, Dortmund may also see this as the perfect time to cash in on their prime asset.
