Jurgen Klopp believes Chelsea has deserved the Premier League title. But German coach insists the difference between Chelsea and Liverpool on the pitch is not that big as it appears in the table ranking.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, does not think they are too far from the Premier League leader Chelsea, although they have 14 points less than Chelsea.
“You have to look at the games we played against Chelsea, we were not 14 points away from them, that’s for sure, but Chelsea players are experienced, cold as ice and they get points, they play very seriously and finish when they need to finish, “Klopp said.
Klopp also noted that injuries have affected Liverpool’s performance this season, while Chelsea had no major injuries throughout the season.
“Chelsea deserves the title, but I have already said that Antonio Conte team had more luck with injuries,” he said.
“Diego Costa missed only one match, Eden Hazard one? Pedro can play, Willian can play, their defense can play. You need this luck,” concluded former Borussia Dortmund coach .
