Barcelona striker Neymar was ready to join Real Madrid in 2013.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that Neymar was near the transfer to Real Madrid in 2013.
“Neymar passed the medical tests in Madrid, and we tried to sign him, but we saw that it was impossible to transfer Neymar and we withdrew from the deal,” Perez told Onda Cero.

Neymar, in 2013, decided to join Barcelona from Santos.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid instead of the Brazilian transferred Gareth Bale from Tottenham for 100m euros.
