Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick has arrived in Turin this morning to undergo his Juventus medical.
The 21-year-old faced Italy Under-21s with the Czech Republic last night and was on the winning side as the Azzurrini were defeated 3-1.
This morning Schick has arrived at the J-Medical facility to undergo a medical, ahead of his €30m move to the Bianconeri.
“Patrick Schick is currently undergoing a routine medical examination ahead of a proposed transfer to Juventus from Sampdoria,” a statement on Juve’s website confirmed.
“The Czech forward checked in at J|Medical at approximately 09.00 CEST. A formal confirmation of the move is expected later in the afternoon.”
While there is a €25m release clause in his contract, the Old Lady will pay more than that in exchange for being allowed to split the payments over three years.
Schick scored 11 Serie A goals in his first season in Italy, despite making just 14 League starts following his move from Sparta Prague.
