Santos angry with journalists, defends Ronaldo

Fernando Santos, Portugal’s selector, defended Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to answer journalists questions after Portugal’s vic tory over Russia (1: 0) at the Confederations Cup.

Journalists wanted to get information from the Portuguese about the future and accusations about fiscal evasion.

Meanwhile, the Portugal coach, Fernando Santos, came out in defense of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Do you think he has to answer questions about the issues out of the game? He is here to talk about the match. He can not talk about the family, Real Madrid here, but only for the match,” Santos said.

“I understand you are all curious, but you have to respect the player’s personal life,” said the Portuguese coach.
