Benzema will be named Real Madrid’s fourth captain for next season.
After the departure of the Portuguese defender, Pepe, French striker Karim Benzema, will be named as Real Madrid’s 4th captain, reports Marca.
Marca announces that the third captain will be Cristiano Ronaldo, who will remain at Santiago Bernabeu, after rumors of a possible departure.
While the first two captains will be Marcelo and Sergio Ramos.
Benzema is named fourth captain after playing for this club for eight years. He moved from Lyon in 2009. The French has so far made 365 appearances in all competitions, scoring 180 goals.
