Marco Asensio and Bruma are the players to catch in the hunt for the adidas Golden Boot after the end of the U21 EURO group stage.
U21 EURO top scorers
3 – Marco Asensio (Spain), Bruma (Portugal)
2 – Enis Bardhi (FYR Macedonia), Martin Chrien (Slovakia), Saúl Ñíguez (Spain), Kenneth Zohore (Denmark)
Spain forward Asensio owes his position at the top of the scorers’ chart to his opening-game hat-trick against FYR Macedonia. Bruma struck twice against the same opponents on matchday three, having opened his account with a stunning strike in the 3-1 defeat by Spain on Tuesday.

While goals scored will always be the first criterion in deciding the leading marksman, further criteria will be used to separate players with the same goal tallies – firstly, assists, then minutes played (with the player boasting the better goals-to-minutes-on-the-pitch ratio taking precedence)./source:UEFA.com/
