Cristiano Ronaldo should consider a move to Juventus if he is serious about leaving Real Madrid as the Serie A champions “have a lot of space” to accommodate him, according to Alessandro Del Piero.
Ronaldo is reportedly eager to leave Madrid this summer after the Portuguese captain was accused of defrauding Spanish tax authorities out of €14.7million – an allegation he has denied.
The 32-year-old – who scored 42 goals in all competitions this season – has been linked with a switch to either PSG or former side Manchester United.
However Juventus legend Del Piero has told Ronaldo he should consider a move to the Italian champions if he really wants to depart the Bernabeu.
Ronaldo scored twice against the Old Lady in the final of this season’s Champions League, which ended 4-1 to Madrid, but Del Piero has also backed his old team to claim their first Champions League trophy since 1996 in the near future.
Speaking to Marca Del Piero said: “We hope to win it again.
“And if Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy at Real Madrid and wants to go, Juventus have a lot of space for him.”
