Japan’s Tokyo Verdy sent an offer to the legendary Roma player, Francesco Totti, who left Roma after 25 years in the club.
Totti is 40 years old and after he finished his last match he said that leaving Roma does not necessarily mean a football retirement.
“We are interested in Totti, there is contact, but the process is still ongoing,” said President of Tokyo Verdy, Hanju Hideaki.
Japanese media speculated that Totti is seeking an annual salary of €3 million if they want him to come to Japan.
In the meanwhile, the Italians state that Roma has a directors position for him.
