Chelsea has transferred Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero as a free player.
Chelsea have announced that they have signed with Caballero, whose contract expired with Manchester City. He will be the second goalkeeper in Chelsea, who will replace Asmir Begovic, who moved to Bournemouth.
Caballero will be substitute for Thibaut Courtois, who is the untouchable in the first team.
Speaking for the club’s official website, the 35-year-old said he was happy to have joined Chelsea.
“I am happy to join Chelsea, Premier League champion. I’m looking forward to meeting my new friends and I will try to help the team to reach their goals next season, “Caballero said.
