The Monaco star has been subject of intense transfer speculation, and his latest move will do little to calm down talk of a possible departure
Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe has erased his club from his Twitter profile in a move that will intensify speculation surrounding his future.
The 18-year-old has been linked with a world-record transfer to some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with PSG and Real Madrid showing particular interest.
Mbappe told to stay at Monaco
Mbappe is under contract at Monaco until 2019, and has said he will make no decisions on his future until he returns from a summer holiday.
Despite starring in the club’s new kit launch, Mbappe has cleared any mention of them in his Twitter biography, although he also removed Nike Football and the France national team from his profile.
Does this move hint at an upcoming transfer, or does Mbappe simply want his Twitter page to look cleaner? Stay tuned.
