Manchester United has agreed on a €85 million for the Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United and Everton have agreed on Romelu Lukaku‘s transfer to Old Trafford. The transfer price should amount to €85 million, reported the BBC. However, the transfer does not yet have official confirmation because Lukaku allegedly prefers Chelsea, and Sky Sports reports that the deal is not yet completed.

On the other hand, the BBC writes that Manchester United has given up on Alvaro Morata, who was long linked with coming to Manchester. His potential arrival was mentioned in the context of David De Gea, who is Real’s great wish. But with the arrival of Lukaku, a lot of things are changing.

The 24-year-old Belgian striker would be a great boost for Manchester, and Mourinho hopes the deal will be completed by Sunday.

It should also be mentioned that Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola, who has brought several players to Manchester, including Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic.

Everton would make the biggest transfer in club history by selling Lukaku, and Manchester would get a player who scored 25 goals last season in the Premier League. Also, this transfer is not related to the likely Wayne Rooney‘s return to Everton.

Lukaku should become the second this year’s boost for United after Eric Lindelof came for €40 million from Benfica.
