Tottenham Is Bringing A New Reinforcement

Negotiations with Real Madrid have started, the Croat is going to the Island

Croatian representative Mateo Kovacic could move to English Tottenham, according to the English media.

Tottenham has allegedly already opened negotiations with Real Madrid and is willing to pay a €26 million compensation for Mateo, who has a contract with Real until 2021. Kovacic played 27 games in the Primera last year but was never really in the first team, so Tottenham is probably looking to get him to play “full time”.

Kovacic’s agent earlier stated that his protege is happy in Real and that the transfer will not happen. Tottenham’s manager Mauricio Pochettino speaks very highly of Mateo and highlights many of his qualities and seems to be seriously interested.
