Kostas Manolas is being targeted by Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to his agent.
The Greek international has been linked to a departure from Roma for a while, with Zenit Saint Petersburg particularly close to him. Chelsea were rumoured to be preparing a £42 million move for the 26-year-old.
His agent is confirming that there is chance that the Inter and Juventus target could go to Spain.
“Can teams like Inter get back into the fray? Well, they’re a possibility, as well as other teams,” Ioannis Evangelopoulos hinted to TMW “other teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid…
“Even Juventus could be an option…”
Manolas is reputed as one of Serie A’s best defenders, and was repeatedly linked to Chelsea last summer.
Despite being only a signature away from a move to Zenit, Manolas’ move fell through, something Evangelopoulos wouldn’t expand on.
“I’d rather not talk about what happened won’t be going to Zenit Saint Petersburg, let’s just say that a decision was made, I won’t say more.”
Evangelopoulos wouldn’t talk about signing a new Roma deal, either, something he hinted at when he said: “He’s already a Roma player, he has a deal which will last two more years”.
