The Premiership is full of billionaires who have decided to invest a fraction of their negligent wealth in football, and now the most globally-known man, at least among the younger population, could join them.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is a member of the Iconiq Capital Group, which has gathered many Silicon Valley billionaires and wants to buy Tottenham Hotspur.
The group has already offered a €1 billion, but Tottenham owner Joe Lewis refused. The new offer amounts to £1 billion (€1.13 billion), but Lewis wants twice as that.
If they really care about buying Tottenham, they shouldn’t have a problem getting that much money.
