James Rodriguez’s proposed exit from the Santiago Bernabeu became a reality when he left for Bayern Munich. However, the Colombian hasn’t raised any significant funds at this stage as he’s simply left on a two year loan.
This has led to reports on Diario Gol that Zinedine Zidane has been told by Real president Florentino Perez if the French international is to sign it’ll mean one of the BBC, Bale, Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo has to be offloaded.
Zidane’s decision has been made and this will see Bale the sacrificial lamb.
Ronaldo, despite the previous claims he’ll leave, is Ronaldo and I can’t see him leaving the Bernabeu. Zidane has a close relationship with Benzema and still rates his compatriot highly. Bale, a favourite of Zizou’s, with nothing personal being shown, is the odd one out.
The Real boss’ decision to change formation last season, with much success, showed Bale, a world class performer who is fitting of gracing the best club in the world, wasn’t essential to this. The Welshman was forced to sit out large sections of last season too, which allowed Isco to step up.
It had previously been claimed Bale wouldn’t be going anywhere, whatever happened with Mbappe, but this has now changed? Well, if these rumours of what the boss has decided are true.

As far as marketable potential, Bale, 27, would command the most affordable outlay for potential suitors, which he wouldn’t be lacking, so maybe, just maybe the smoke finally will have some fire when it comes to a possible Los Blancos exit for the Wales forward…
