According to reports in Brazil, Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Real Madrid right-back Danilo.
The Blues have been linked with a move for the former Porto defender in recent weeks and according to UOL, they are extremely close to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid.
Danilo has not had the desired effect under Zinedine Zidane and it looks as though the Frenchman is willing to let the defender go this summer, with Chelsea ready to take the opportunity to land him.
It’s stated that in terms of personal agreements with Chelsea, there will be no complications for Danilo and he is set to go ahead and complete his switch to the Premier League champions.
Initially, Real were keen to take at least €40m from the sale of Danilo, but a compromise of around €31m is likely to be reached.
Danilo, if signed, is set to take the place of Victor Moses at right wing-back.
