Real Sociedad have agreed an €11m deal with Manchester United for the transfer of winger Adnan Januzaj, according to reports.

Multiple media outlets across both England and Spain report a deal has been struck between the clubs with the 22-year-old’s move to San Sebastian to be completed ‘imminently’.

Januzaj made 27 Premier League appearances in his debut season under David Moyes but he failed to impress both Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho, having little impact during loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland.

“It’s true that we are interested [in Januzaj] but we are not in talks with Manchester or with him,” La Real president Jokin Aperribay told El Mundo Deportivo last month.

“We are waiting for the decision of Manchester United and then we will act. There are more teams interested in him and his signing won’t be easy.”

Glasgow Celtic and AS Roma were speculated to be among the clubs chasing the United youngster but he will now complete his anticipated move to the Basque club.
