Inter could reportedly renew their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela after being priced out for Javier Pastore.
Corriere dello Sport claimed on Tuesday that Paris Saint-Germain’s €40m valuation of Pastore put off Inter, but Calciomercato.com adds the 28-year-old “isn’t right” for Coach Luciano Spalletti.
Consequently, the website suggests technical coordinator Walter Sabatini is a big fan of Lamela, who has been linked before and has not played a competitive match since last October due to a spate of mysterious injuries.
The Argentine joined Spurs from Roma for €30m in the summer of 2013 and starred for the club during the 2015-16 campaign, scoring 11 goals and assisting 10 in 44 appearances.
The signing of a No 10 is said to be a priority for Inter as Spalletti looks to adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation next season.
