Real Madrid swoop for Chelsea star Eden Hazard could see two players quit club

Zidane is a huge admirer of the Chelsea midfielder who flourished at Stamford Bridge last season.

Hazard, 26, was instrumental as the Blues stormed to title glory.

He suffered an ankle injury towards the end of the campaign – but that hasn’t put Zidane off.

The French chief could face serious internal issues if he launches a formal raid, though.

According to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Isco would seek a transfer if Hazard joined the club.

The Spanish playmaker established himself as a standout performer last term and doesn’t want to be relegated to the bench again.

Isco’s team-mate, Marco Asensio, is also wary of Hazard donning the famous white jersey as he looks to cement a regular starting spot.

Diario Gol say Zidane needs to forget about Hazard if he wants to avoid dressing room unrest.

Hazard has previously hinted that he’d welcome a move to the Bernabeu.

When asked about interest from Real last month, he said: “Of course, that’s all.

“We all dream. Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer.

“I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League.

“But Chelsea’s goal is to win the Champions League as well.

“Honestly, I do not know what will happen. I only know that I still have a contract with Chelsea for three seasons and that we just had an amazing campaign.”
