Manchester United make Keylor Navas decision amid De Gea rumours

Manchester United may be fighting a battle to keep David De Gea at the club, but they are not interested in Keylor Navas according to Diario Gol.

The Spanish outlet think that while United understand they may well be looking for a goalkeeper in the near future, they don’t think Navas would be suited to the Premier League, and would look elsewhere if push came to shove.

Obviously a player plus cash deal for De Gea may have been the option preferred by Real Madrid, yet that is not what the Red Devils want – and they will try and keep De Gea for as long as they can.

Given there are two years left on the deal De Gea has, Jose Mourinho thinks the club are in the position of power, and it seems that they will not cave to any bid.

Real are thought to be putting together a £60 million package, but with Alvaro Morata off the table, not to mention less than suitable alternatives for De Gea on the market, United are thought to be confident they can keep him – unless a transfer request is handed in.
