Spanish outlet Don Balon claims that Chelsea have made an audacious move for Belgian international forward Yannick Carrasco. The portal also states that the Premier League champions have also prepared a five-year deal to try to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte’s side are believed to be ready to double the players current salary of £32,000-a-week to convince him to head to the Premier League but the fact that his current club has a transfer embargo hanging over them, meaning they cannot sign any players until January 2018, means that they are reluctant to let any of the current squad leave the Spanish capital this summer.
Carrasco had looked set to be heading to Bayern Munich but after Atleti lost their appeal against their ban, the deal was aborted.

There could be still be hope for the champions however with Diego Simeone’s side having already captured the signature of Sevilla winger Vitolo who will go out on-loan to Las Palmas for six months before returning to Madrid in January. The Blues are still confident they can reach an agreement with the Spaniards before the August 31 deadline.
