Welsh superstar Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain. Recent reports from Spain have suggested that the 28-year-old’s time at the Santiago Bernabeu is coming to an end with Manchester United constantly being linked with his signature.

Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane meanwhile, believes he already has a ready-made replacement for the Welshman in the shape of new summer signing Theo Hernandez. The 19-year-old has made the surprise move across the city from Atletico and the French tactician believes his fellow countryman could be utilised as an attacking player despite his natural position being at left-back.

Hernandez spent last season on-loan at Alaves and impressed Zidane in his performances against the champions. The man from Marseille has already made an impact at international level too and looks set for a glittering career at one of the world’s biggest clubs.

Spanish portal Diario Gol is convinced that Zidane had his potential to replace Bale, at the back of his mind when he made the move for the youngster and Real President Florentino Perez has also refused to rule out the possible sale of the flying Welshman after another injury hit season last year.
