Cristiano Ronaldo’s free kick technique captured for FIFA 18

With the grand release of FIFA 18 almost upon us, EA Sports have released a new teaser video to show off the depth of realism they’re busy incorporating into their latest offering.

The video shows the game’s cover star, Cristiano Ronaldo, providing the motion capture for his trademark free kick technique by whacking balls at a net while dressed head-to-toe in a bobbled black suit.

Every last detail is captured, right down to the deep breaths and the fact that only one in 10 of Ronaldo’s free kicks actually make it past the defensive wall.

For the record,EA Sports have confirmed that the much-anticipated FIFA 18 is scheduled to be released on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on Sept.29.
