Chelsea ace Eden Hazard now Real Madrid top priority as club eye experienced stars

That’s according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon who say the Blues ace is now Real’s top priority.

Real have repeatedly been linked with Monaco sensation Mbappe.

The France international is expected to cost mega money.

But Real now have cash to splash after offloading Alvaro Morata to Chelsea and James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich.

Club supremo Florentino Perez has been keen to draft in Mbappe following Real’s impressive season last term.

The La Liga giants secured title glory and won the Champions League.

But Don Balon say Zidane has finally convinced Perez that Hazard, 26, is a better buy given his more proven pedigree.

Hazard has previously hinted that he’d welcome a move to the Spanish capital.

When asked about interest from Real last month, he said: “Of course, that’s all.
Ian Wright says if he was Eden Hazard he’d leave Chelsea

“We all dream. Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer.

“I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League.

“But Chelsea’s goal is to win the Champions League as well.

“Honestly, I do not know what will happen. I only know that I still have a contract with Chelsea for three seasons and that we just had an amazing campaign.”
