Out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is set to return to Galatasaray after the Turkish giants offered a one-year loan deal, say reports.
Cadena Cope cite reports in the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet with the Istanbul-based club prepared to offer the former international a €4m salary for the year.
“He returns as captain of the lions,” Gala’s president Dursun Ozbek has been reported as saying by reports in the Turkish media.
Arda previously spent five years in the Turkish side’s first team, winning a league, cup and Super Cup during his stint, before joining Atletico Madrid in 2011.
Since moving to the Camp Nou in 2015 the midfielder has struggled to nail down a first-team place, but has scored 19 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions.
