Bayern Munich have reportedly turned down an initial Milan offer for Renato Sanches worth a total of €45-50m.

According to reports this weekend, the Bundesliga giants were prepared to accept a loan move with option to buy, but would prefer to have the Portugal international back in July 2018.

Sky Sport Italia claim this afternoon that the Rossoneri offered €10m for the one-year loan and another €35-40m option to buy at the end of the season.

However, this sum was considered insufficient, especially as Milan face competition from Antonio Conte’s Chelsea for the midfielder.
