24-year-old agrees personal terms with Manchester United, transfer could be done by next week

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier as they close in on another major signing, according to a report.

French news source Paris United claim the 24-year-old right-back has reached agreement with United on a five-year-contract.

It is said that he has agreed personal terms on a deal worth over a £95,000-a-week which is set to end his association with PSG and take him to Old Trafford.

Paris United report that the fee has not yet been agreed between the two clubs but he is in line to make the switch to the Premier League before the start of the new season next week.

Jose Mourinho has been chasing the Ivory Coast international as he continues to rebuild his squad this summer and could land him for around £30million.

United have reportedly been locked in negotiations with PSG for the past two weeks as they finally close in on the full-back Mourinho has been keen to add to his squad.

Aurier has spent the last three seasons at the French giants after initially joining from Toulouse on loan in 2014, before completing a permanent transfer 12 months later.

Agent Mino Raiola has been speaking to PSG on United’s behalf as the French club look to raise funds for the signing of Neymar.

PSG know they will have to satisfy Financial Fair Play regulations with Uefa as they look to find the £195million needed to meet the release clause in the Brazilian’s Barcelona contract.

In other Manchester United news, a winger has arrived at the club ahead of a possible transfer.
