The Brazil international will complete his world-record £200m move to PSG tomorrow when he is unveiled by the Ligue 1 giants.
He has agreed a five-year deal at the club which will make him the best paid football in the world on wages worth £540,000-a-week after tax.
Neymar joined Barcelona in 2013 and went on to win eight trophies including two La Liga trophies and a Champions League winner’s medal.
But despite playing alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in arguably the most feared strike force in world football, he has decided to take on a new challenge.
“The Barcelona and Catalonia will always be in my heart, but I need new challenges,” Neymar said.
He added” “I accepted PSG’s proposition to try new achievements and help the club win the titles that their crowd wants.
“They showed me a daring career plan and I feel ready to take on this challenge.
“Now I feel in my heart that it’s time to leave
“PSG will be my home for the next years and I will work hard to honour all of the trust placed in my football.”
