Thibaut Courtois offers himself to Real Madrid: Chelsea star wants move

The Spanish giants are desperate to land a new goalkeeper, with Real president Florentino Perez hopeful of replacing Keylor Navas at the Bernabeu.

Real have been heavily linked with Manchester United star David De Gea in recent months.

De Gea, 26, nearly joined the Spanish giants in 2015 and is a long term target for the La Liga champions.

However, Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon say Real could land Chelsea star Courtois instead.

They claim the Belgium international is keen to join the La Liga side and has even offered himself to Real.

Don Balon say the stopper, who had a three-year loan spell with Atletico Madrid from 2011, wants to return to Spain.

However, Chelsea are not interested in selling Courtois this summer.

Antonio Conte is desperate to keep hold of his No.1 and sees the 25-year-old as irreplaceable.

Don Balon add that Real hope to use their relationship with Chelsea, especially following the sale of Alvaro Morata, as a bargaining chip in the deal.
