Stoke City have completed the season-long loan signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez, the club have confirmed.
The 24-year-old moves to the Britannia Stadium in a deal which does not include an option to buy with Fiorentina and Las Palmas among the clubs to miss out on his signature.
The Spaniard joined PSG in a €25m deal from Real Madrid last summer but did not settle in the French capital and completed a loan move to hometown club Las Palmas in January.
His return to Los Amarillos was met with mixed success – three goals in 16 appearances at the Gran Canaria side ran out of steam in the second half of the season.
Reports over the summer had linked Las Palmas with another loan deal while Italian media reported Fiorentina’s interest, but his move to the Potters was made official on Wednesday.
