Barcelona player wants to join AC Milan

Sky Sport Italia claim Rafinha has given the all-clear to join Milan, now the Rossoneri must decide if they want to sign the Barcelona midfielder.

There had been reports earlier this afternoon that they were in negotiations for the 24-year-old.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio suggests Rafinha has already told Milan he wants to make the move to San Siro on loan with option to buy.

He’s impressed with the project and prepared to turn down more lucrative proposals from the Premier League.

However, the Serie A giants are not entirely convinced, as this would mean ruling out another reinforcement in attack.

Rafinha is the brother of Bayer Munich star Thiago Alcantara, but plays his international football for Brazil.

He has struggled with injury problems since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in 2015.
