From now on, the transfer window for Premier League will be closed before the opening of the season

Premier League clubs have agreed to close the transfer window before the start of the new season.

So, from now on the Premier League transfer period will be closed on August 9 at 17:00.

In most major European leagues the transfer period ends on 31 August. But, the English clubs have called for this deadline to close earlier.
