Last week, during Paris Saint-Germain routine 2-0 victory over Lyon, there was this one incident which made all the headlines. The little clash between Edinson Cavani and Neymar caught everyone’s attention, as the Uruguayan did not let the Brazilian take the kick from 12 yards out. Cavani missed the penalty, aggravating the issue even further.
According to a famous French newspaper, L’Equipe, as reported by Dailymail, the duo had to be separated in the dressing room after the match ended. Now the newspaper claims that the Brazilian has apologised to the whole squad following the unprofessional incident.
Neymar today apologised to the entire PSG dressing room for his behaviour towards Edinson Cavani on set pieces, according to L'Équipe.

Dani Alves, Neymar’s close friend, actively participated later on as he ignored Cavani’s call for a free-kick and gave the ball straight to ex-Barcelona countryman, Neymar.
Manager Unai Emery has come out and called this a minor incident, as he believes his stars are mature enough to do solve this matter among themselves. He also stated that it’s up to him to choose who gets to be on which set piece.
Edinson Cavani, too, has acted maturely and called this a small incident. Speaking to Gol de Medianoche de Radio Universal, as quoted by Dailymail, he said, “The truth is that there’s no problem”.
“He (Neymar) has just arrived and like I said from the off we are keen for him to adapt in the best way possible. I think that’s been proven because you can see he is adapting quickly”
At this point, it looks like all’s well in Paris, we’ll get to see the real picture when the next transfer window rolls over.
