Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has reportedly being involved in a car accident but has escaped any serious injuries, according to reports from Argentina. The Argentine was in Amsterdam for a concert by Colombian singer Maluma and met with an accident on his return to the airport, with his taxi reportedly crashing into a pole.
However, according to the Daily Star, the 29-year-old did not suffer any serious injuries and was believed to have been wearing a seat belt which probably saved him from a severe injury.

Aguero was on his way to the airport to return to Manchester but now has been taken to a local hospital where he is undergoing treatment. It remains to be seen what the full extent of his injuries are.
This news would have come as a huge blow to both his club and country, with important matches coming up. The striker is now expected to miss Manchester City’s top of the table clash with Chelsea and Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Ecuador early next month.
The former Atletico Madrid striker has been in great form for Pep Guardiola’s side this campaign, already scoring seven times in all competitions and his absence will be felt for the former champions when they take on Chelsea.
