New contract for Ramos within two weeks

​Real Madrid are working hard to finalise a new deal for Sergio Ramos, and it should be completed within the next two weeks.

The 31-year-old has been with Los Blancos since moving from Sevilla back in 2005, and has played over 500 games in all competitions for the giants.

The world class superstar has been at the top his game for a large proportion of that time, and is hugely important to Madrid as their club captain.

He last put pen to paper in 2015 when he agreed an extension taking him up to 2020, but now Real want him to commit further years to the club, and are willing to offer him a staggering €12m-a-year, as reported by the director of ​OKDIARIO Eduardo Inda in his section of exclusive of El Chiringuito de Jugones.

He claims that the renewal of Nacho Fernandez is imminent following Raphael Varane, and that Ramos’ should be sorted in the next couple of weeks.

Madrid are endeavouring to tie down their top stars to longer deals as they seek to dominate football both domestically and in Europe with some of the best players in the world.

The have recently re-signed Isco, Marcelo, Marco Asensio and Dani Carvajal to new deals and hope that there will be no hiccups involving ‘jewel in the crown’ Ramos.
