A report in Saturday’s AS claims Neymar asked UEFA to expel Barcelona from the Champions League.
According to the newspaper, he was advised by his lawyers to take such action after Barca’s failure to honour their €26m loyalty payment.
The Brazilian joined Paris Saint-Germain at the end of July in a world-record, €222m transfer, but the newspaper notes UEFA quickly dismissed the request.
Raul Sanllehi, the Barca director that played a key role in bringing the forward to Camp Nou four years ago, has also left the club.
Marca reports he has done so “on his own volition” but was “upset and frustrated” about Neymar’s departure to PSG.
