Barcelona are hopeful of finding exit routes for three first-team squad players in January, according to reports in Spain.

All three of Arda Turan, Thomas Vermaelen and Paco Alcacer are said to be up for sale whenever the transfer window reopens, according to Diario Sport.

Arda has not featured in the Blaugrana’s match day squad at all this season and is said to have turned down a move to Galatasaray on the final day of the transfer market.

The report cites reports in both England and Turkey that Arsenal could be a possible destination for the midfielder, although Barca would make a big loss on the €40m they paid for him from Atletico Madrid in 2015.

Former Gunners central defender Vermaelen is also available for sale and like Arda, he has not played a minute this season.

He spent last campaign on loan at Roma in Italy but suffered from constant injuries and is keen for first-team action in order to win a place in Belgium’s World Cup squad next season.

Alcacer, signed from Valencia last summer, is also said to be available despite starting the opening La Liga game of the season due to Luis Suarez’s absence.

However, he has not played a minute since appearing as a substitute against Alaves in match day two despite Ousmane Dembele’s absence through injury.
