“Neymar vs Cavani is good for PSG”

Paris Saint-Germain defender, Marquinhos, has tagged the conflict between Edinson Cavani and Neymar regarding taking the penalty again Lyon, as ‘normal.’ PSG secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Lyon, but the row between the two South Americans caught everyone’s attention.

There were speculations all over about the ongoing feud between Cavani and Neymar, but Unai Emery, along with both the players, dialled the situation down. Now Marquinhos, too, has taken a similar approach and has called the situation a ‘welcome problem’.

Speaking to ESPN, as quoted by ​FourFourTwo, the Brazilian said, “The conflict with Cavani is normal.”

“It’s a good problem for the coach to have two players with that responsibility, who want to be a part of that moment. They are two great players and it’s all fitting together in the best way.”

Neymar, since joining from Barcelona, has been in sensational form, scoring eight goals in the same amount of games. Marquinhos has applauded the way Neymar adapted to life in Paris, and thought the Brazilians in the squad have helped quite a bit.

“Neymar’s reception was one of the best. He’s adapting quickly, he has new objectives and I think the Brazilians have helped. In my case, that helped a lot,” he concluded.
